Well, since my last post I have delved into the world of html more and I'm getting the hang of it - sort of!  I'm not too keen on the front page atm, but I'm getting some professional pics taken and will insert a large group shot on the front page soon.  My pretty little website will be featured in the August edition of Australian Country Craft magazine, so if you're a fan of anything country take a look at the mag and, even more importantly, my website!

Well today HTML has got me buggered!  I've tried and tried to find files and alter text, but I just don't get it!!  Setting up a website is quite a steep learning curve and I'm just about ready to throw something through the computer!!!  My patient and long-suffering webmaster must cringe every time he sees another email from me.  I'm sure it will click at some stage, but for now I'm packing it in and checking out someone else's website!  Tomorrow is another day!

Woo hoo!  I've found somewhere to discuss all things to do with on-line selling!  I have an ebay and oztion user id, but have decided to give them the flick and have set up our own website.

www.thecoppercow.com.au is our new on-line store.  It's in its infancy at the moment as I've never html-ed before, but I'm getting the hang of it slowly.  I have a fantastic webmaster luckily who takes my stupid questions and mistakes in his stride - thanks Ralph!!

At The Copper Cow we sell all thing country - from wooden gollies and chickens to rusty tin signs and my favourite purchase recently - wooden iceboxes!

So take at look at the website as I'd like some feedback from someone.

The trick now is to get people to see it.  I'm thinking of advertising in some country magazines as they're my direct target audience.  Costly though, but hopefully the returns will be worth it!!

I have also printed flyers with a grand opening special of a free gift with purchases over $30. 

Our plan is to move the stock from our shed and have a purpose-built showroom which we can hold party plan type evenings.
